Cumin Seeds (Jeera) — Cleaning, Grading & Sorting
Precision processing for jeera — from dusty mandi lots to graded, colour-sorted cumin ready for export, retail, and spice brands.
Cumin (jeera) is India's most consumed spice and one of the most exported. But raw cumin from Rajasthan, Gujarat, and MP markets arrives with significant levels of dust, stones, broken seeds, and colour defects that reduce both grade and price. Our five-stage processing line — fine cleaning, de-stoning, gravity separation, AI colour sorting, and final grading — transforms raw cumin into precisely graded output that commands premium prices in domestic and international markets.

The Processing Pipeline
Fine Cleaning & De-Stoning
Raw cumin is cleaned through the UB-1500/4 to remove dust, stems, and light chaff, then de-stoned via the CSP-502 to eject stones and sand particles common in jeera lots.
Gravity Separation
The GS 240 Hi-Cap gravity separator removes immature, shrivelled, and damaged cumin seeds by density difference, ensuring only full, mature seeds pass through.
AI Colour Sorting
The Meyer Thinker UHD AI sorter detects and ejects discoloured, blackened, or mouldy cumin seeds using deep-learning algorithms and 480 high-speed maglev ejectors.
Size Grading & Final Clean
A second fine cleaner pass grades cumin by size into market-standard fractions and removes any residual fines or dust introduced during processing.
